The Denver Kickers Sport Club was founded in 1962, and held its events at the Denver Turnverein, also known as the German Haus located in Denver, Colorado. In 1968 the Denver Kickers acquired their first clubhouse, which was an old two story red brick schoolhouse on 1 3/4 acres in Golden, Colorado, a suburb west of Denver. In 1976 some members dreams came true. A parcel of land was acquired from the Adolph Coors Brewing Company where a new clubhouse was designed and built by members.
Today the Denver Kickers Clubhouses is located on 8 acres of land, has a European-size championship soccer field, over 400 members and sponsors one Men’s Premier Soccer team, four Men’s Adult Soccer teams, one Women’s Adult Soccer team, Competitive Youth Soccer teams, and Recreation Youth Soccer teams.
